In some regions, rugs and carpets are considered as a same product, however there is quite a difference between these two. However, rugs can be moved for cleaning purposes thus they lack stability but as a benefit they can easily be changed and rotated if needed.


Handmade and machine made rugs are available in thinner material which give them classic look. On the other hand, carpets are typically tending to be thicker.
